1st Annual TransManage Walk on Thursday, August 5th
Join TransManage on a guided walking tour of the Bellwether 2010 Arts Walk in downtown Bellevue on August 5th. The walk will begin at noon at Commuter Connection, located at the Bellevue Transit Center. Receive a free Walk Downtown Bellevue starter kit, see over 20 public art displays, and listen to live music at a Live at Lunch concert. Earn rewards for your company by getting on board with ORCA Passport!

Brilliant! Summer Rideshareonline.com Promotion
To get ready for the upcoming Wheel Options campaign in October, Rideshareonline.com has a 6 week summer promotion for carpool and vanpoolers. Participants will have the opportunity to win several trips, an Apple iPad, and a $50 MasterCard gift card. To be eligible for the prize drawing, entrants must carpool or vanpool to work at least 2 days per week during the August 9, 2010 to September 19, 2010 promotion. In addition, at least two eligible carpool or vanpool trips must be entered online in the RideshareOnline.com calendar during the week they are taken. Commute Planning Made Easy
We are here to do the planning for you—no commitments required. Simply fill out the commute inquiry form online at www.ChooseYourWayBellevue.org and submit it to us. You can also visit the Commuter Connection store, located in the Rider Services Building at the Bellevue Transit Center, weekdays from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. We’ll develop a customized list of commute options just for you using your work schedule, home address and worksite. Submitting your commute inquiry also enters you into a monthly drawing for a $25 gift card.

Live at Lunch
Join TransManage every Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday beginning July 6 at the Bellevue Downtown Association’s summer concert series, Live at Lunch. Bring your lunch and stop by the TransManage table to learn how to have a stress-free summer commute. Reload your ORCA card at the Downtown Bellevue Safeway, (300 Bellevue Way NE) and Downtown Bellevue QFC (10116 NE 8th Street)
Stop in during regular business hours to load transportation fare to your ORCA card.

Safeway Hours: 5:00 a.m. - 1:00 a.m.
QFC Hours: 10:00 a.m. - 7:00 p.m. at the Service Center

Most forms of payment accepted. Your pass or E-purse will be processed and available for immediate use. Retail outlets can only load value to current ORCA cards and do not issue new cards. Order a new ORCA card at orcacard.com, or visit the Commuter Connection Store to pick up a free ORCA card ($5 value). The $5 card fee has been provided by the Choose Your Way Bellevue partnership: TransManage, City of Bellevue and King County Metro.

Bellevue Businesses—Get recognized for your commitment to commute options! TransManage, in partnership with the City of Bellevue, recently launched the Commute Advantage Community Leaders program, aimed at recognizing businesses for their efforts at reducing congestion and carbon emissions by offering commute options to their employees. Applications are still being accepted for downtown businesses. Professional Bicycle Mechanic offered at Commuter Connection
Commuter Connection has a professional bicycle mechanic onsite every Tuesday from 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Email info@pedaldynamics.com or call (425) 883-4611 for more information and to schedule an appointment. Commuter Connection, located in the Rider Services Building at the Bellevue Transit Center, is open Monday - Friday from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. to provide personalized assistance with trip planning by bus, carpool, vanpool or bike, rideshare matching, bicycle parking memberships and more. Commuter Connection
Located in the Rider Services Building at the Bellevue Transit Center, TransManage staff are available Monday through Friday from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. for planning trips by bus, carpool, vanpool or bike. Downtown Bellevue employees and residents can stop in to purchase transit passes, pick up travel information and learn about incentives for commuters who choose not to drive alone. Employers can visit and learn about adding commute benefits to their overall benefits program for employees.

Commuter Connection also offers secure, indoor parking for 27 bicycles, as well as wire mesh lockers for storing gear. Anyone can register for a keycard membership that offers 24/7 access to the secure bicycle parking area. Membership is $50 for a six-month term, plus a $10 refundable deposit.
