Growing Up Before Our Eyes

Then and NowECONOMIC ENGINE, THRIVING NEIGHBORHOOD: The many cranes that once framed the downtown skyline have all but disappeared as more than a dozen major projects near completion. Since 2004, Downtown Bellevue's workforce and residential population both grew by a third, and the city added one million square feet in retail stores, restaurants and entertainment attractions.
