URBAN LIVING
THE CONVENIENCE OF LIVING AND WORKING IN DOWNTOWN BELLEVUE
Goodbye
gutters. So long lawn-mower. Mark D’Amato won’t miss you.
He’s ready to embrace the yard-less benefits of urban living.
Mark D’Amato (Principal at DCI Engineers, a civil and structural engineering firm in Downtown Bellevue) is at the forefront of this trend in Downtown Bellevue. Being part of this ground-breaking stage excites D’Amato. “As high-rise residences fill downtown and become occupied, a new down-town identity will likely emerge. I’m happy to play a role in how this significant new community will develop.”
Mark and his family recently moved into their new condo-minium at Washington Square, a two tower high-rise community at NE 8th Street and 106th Avenue NE, and home to the Eastside’s first Top Pot Doughnuts. “We’ve always wanted to live in an urban experience where restaurants, the library and shopping are just an elevator ride away.”
According to Mark, another perk of the downtown urban lifestyle is being able to lock-up the condo and travel the world. “Linda and I are looking forward to packing up and traveling for extended periods of time. Observing other cities and cultures is inspiring, and I tend to bring back ideas to my own work here in Bellevue.”
When in town, Mark takes advantage of the countless amenities Downtown Bellevue has to offer. From shooting billiards at The Parlor to authentic Italian dining at Luciano’s, he admits that there are lots of places to enjoy within walking distance from his office and his new home.
But the number one reason Mark enjoys living and working here is because
“Downtown Bellevue exudes a high quality feel and attracts friendly
individuals. We’re excited about being part of the vanguard that
is going to establish a new paradigm for downtown living in Bellevue.”
