Bellevue Downtown Winter 2007

STROLL, SKATE, CELEBRATE!
HOLIDAY FESTIVITIES AT THE BELLEVUE MAGIC SEASON

The Magic Season tradition returns to Downtown Bellevue with festive holiday favorites and a few bright surprises. The activities begin November 23 and continue through January 6.

Bundle up and take a twirl at the Group Health Ice Arena. Nestled alongside the waterfall in Bellevue Downtown Park, the ice arena features holiday music, special events, free skating lessons and a heated viewing area to warm up or just take a break. Whether you glide like a pro or a beginner, it’s holiday fun for the entire family. You can skate from November 23 through the New Year until January 6.

Experience the sensational sidewalk show at Snowflake Lane along Bellevue Way and NE 8th Street at The Bellevue Collection. Snow falls nightly as 60 live toy soldiers, carolers, music and a dazzling light show thrill the crowd.

Stroll through the magical wonderland at Garden d’Lights. More than 500,000 lights brighten the Bellevue Botanical Garden in a breathtaking, nationally recognized holiday display.
Enjoy the brilliant Sound Transit Design in Light display along the NE 6th Street Pedestrian Corridor.

The Theatre at Meydenbauer Center hosts a magical holiday series of musical and dramatic productions by regional and local performance groups. (See list of performances below.)

Plus, Downtown Bellevue’s world-class shopping, entertainment and dining options are steps away. With more than 250 shops (see Shopping Guide pages 7-10) and 135 restaurants and cafés, you’ll complete your holiday shopping list with ease.

Easy to navigate and packed with activities for all ages, Downtown Bellevue and the Magic Season makes an ideal holiday destination and family tradition.
