LINCOLN SQUARE
Welcomes Microsoft and Eddie Bauer
Downtown Bellevue is ready to add leading international retailer
Eddie Bauer to its list of prominent national companies. Eddie Bauer
will move its global headquarters to Lincoln Square in June. More than
600 employees will transition from the Redmond campus to Downtown Bellevue.
Microsoft’s North American sales force will share the building with Eddie Bauer. An estimated 1,200 Microsoft employees will occupy a total of 300,000 square feet.
“Microsoft will be an outstanding tenant in our new building,” says Kemper Freeman, Chairman and CEO of Kemper Development Company. “It’s a perfect location —right in the heart of downtown Bellevue’s retail, dining and entertainment district. This team will add to the dynamic energy and new life of the downtown core.”
Both moves will be phased with groups of employees moving each week. The move is expected to take five months to complete.
