Fashion: The Greatest Show on Earth
April 27-August 31, 2003
Drawing on sources as varied as the art of the 1960s and 70s, political activism, theater and popular culture, fashion houses have transformed the runway show into a new breed of performance art. This exhibition explores this art/fashion phenomenon, incorporating clothing, video, performance and design by leading couturiers and contemporary artists.
Roy Lichtenstein: Times Square Mural
