Urban Living
World-class
dining, eclectic entertainment, a blossoming nightlife, and of course,
shopping galore — just a handful of elements Ruchelle Salcedo
points to when talking about why Downtown Bellevue is “the hot
place to be.”
As the Leasing Director of TEN20, a new luxury high rise apartment building
located just west of Bellevue Regional Library, Ruchelle is immersed
in getting to know the benefits of living where you work. Many TEN20
employees, including Ruchelle, currently reside in the tower, a lifestyle
Ruchelle describes as “an innovative way to identify with your
product.” Enjoying the outdoors has always been an invigorating
and relaxing outlet for Ruchelle, and she didn’t lose any access to
it after moving to a more urban environment.
“Being able to walk to work, to stores and to parks is unbeatable,”
she reflected. “I like to take advantage of Downtown Bellevue’s
public open spaces and parks — there are so many options when
I want to get fresh air, including the recently renovated Ashwood Park
right outside TEN20’s doorstep.”
Her two favorite restaurants, Toscano and Panini’s, are also TEN20’s
in-room dining partners and just steps away as well.
Ruchelle explores Downtown Bellevue daily through both a personal and
professional perspective, which carry over to helping TEN20 residents
discover their new neighborhood. Her inspiration to work for The Hanover
Company, developer of TEN20 tower, is tied to the company’s reason for
building in Downtown Bellevue. “They saw the many companies moving
here, the evolving nightlife and the great number of shops, restaurants
and entertainment options, all of which were contributing to a burgeoning
community. They wanted to be a part of that, and now, so am I.”
