Bellevue
      Comes Alive After Five!

Have you noticed the emerging nighttime pulse in Bellevue? Downtown Bellevue is hopping with excitement. The signs of life are hard to miss. Restaurants have waiting lists, the theatres are packed and people are out to see, be seen and experience Downtown Bellevue.

At least a dozen new restaurants and hot spots have energized the options for an evening out on the town. The recent entries, such as the Parlor Billiards & Spirits, fit nicely on the list with perennial favorites like Seastar Restaurant and Raw Bar, the Tap House Grill, Daniel's Broiler and The Melting Pot, to name a few.

There are great entertainment options, too. Innovative exhibits continue to impress at the Bellevue Arts Museum. Don't overlook the Theatre at Meydenbauer Center, which offers a first-rate calendar of music and dramatic performances. Bottom line: you can stay, dine and play after work and enjoy a full evening of entertainment without crossing a bridge.

And more is coming. Trader Vic's opens March 6, and Joey's is next on the horizon with a scheduled debut in April. Also watch for a night club opening in 989elements later this year.

For the latest list of where to go and what to do, just refer to the "Nightlife Guide" in this issue of Bellevue Downtown. Looking for an evening out on the town? Put together an after work outing for appetizers and a cosmo before heading to the theatre. Or, plan a manicure and martini date with the girls before heading out for a night of shopping. Need a romantic dinner for two? So many choices … French, Italian, Polynesian or Mexican? We've got it all in Downtown Bellevue.

Plan your next night in Downtown Bellevue, because now — more than ever — we're alive after five!
