Urban Living
Becki, a commercial real estate property manager for GVA Kidder
Matthews, walks 11 blocks in 20 minutes from her home in Meydenbauer
Bay to her office, rain or shine. Cutting through the Downtown Park is a
favorite detour as are a workout at 24 Hour Fitness or a stop for a dark
chocolate mocha at Tully’s on Main. Becki enjoys the proximity to
shopping, the convenience of walking to work, and the variety of activities
and restaurants. “It never lacks the new and exciting,” she said, describing
her Downtown Bellevue lifestyle.
Living close to the water is a must for Becki and she and her daughter
enjoy the many beach parks close to downtown — Clyde, Chism and
Enatai. She appreciates the City’s idea to expand and improve
Meydenbauer Bay Park because it “would help celebrate Downtown
Bellevue’s connection to a beautiful waterfront which anyone can enjoy.”
When it comes to dining, Becki frequents Rock Bottom Brewery for
sliders or Lucky Strike Lanes for fried macaroni & cheese, where she may
even bowl a game or two! Becki’s home is the favorite meeting spot for
get-togethers with friends due to many nightlife and entertainment
options in one great place. “There is something for everyone!”
