URBAN LIVING

THE CONVENIENCE OF LIVING AND WORKING IN DOWNTOWN BELLEVUE

Walking to work is one of the many things new business owner AmyJae Springer enjoys about her life in Downtown Bellevue. AmyJae owns Extreme Fitness Studios, which opened in April at the Symetra Financial Center—just four blocks from her apartment.

AmyJae credits her extended family of personal training staff for the dedication they’ve put into helping her open the fitness studio.

“Teamwork has been the key to getting Extreme Fitness Studios off the ground. We extend this philosophy of team support to training with our clients.”

New members receive a complete lifestyle assessment including a physical activity examination and a daily nutrition and health history. Trainers then create a personalized program for each client.

“I love being able to walk to work. The close proximity and network of amenities in Downtown Bellevue is ideal because everything is at your fingertips.”
AmyJae practices what she teaches and says healthy eating options in Downtown Bellevue are plentiful. Her top picks include a Gyro Salad at Garlic Crush and organic take-out at Whole Foods Market.

When AmyJae isn’t working out with her clients, she likes to unwind by taking a jog in the Downtown Park. “I love the energetic atmosphere Downtown Bellevue offers. I always feel safe taking a run at any time of the day because there are always people out and about, which is what originally attracted me to living and working here.”
