ChalkWalk at the Corners August 22-24
Watch professionals, students and aspiring artists use the sidewalk as a canvas and transform Downtown Bellevue into a temporary outdoor museum of art. Enjoy live entertainment and childrens activities all weekend long at ChalkWalk at The Corners, presented by the Restaurants at The Corners and located on the sidewalks fronting Bellevue Square and Bellevue Place.
Restaurants from Bellevue Square and Bellevue Place will come together to support Bellevue Art Museum through a creative popular mediumChalk. Watch chalk artists create their masterpieces alongthe sidewalks of NE 8th St. and Bellevue Way between Bellevue Square and Bellevue Place. Artists will transform their work from early sketches on Friday to finished pieces on Saturday and Sunday.
Open to the public, squares will be available for families and aspiring artists to create their own works of art for $25. All proceeds raised will benefit Bellevue Art Museums childrens programs.
Children will also have the chance to get their hands dirty, as Bellevue Art Museum will be hosting childrens activities on Friday (pre-registered groups) and Saturday (general public). Call for details and RSVP at 425.519.0776.
