Are healthier workers more productive? Are they happier? What role can employers play to encourage overall wellness and a more active workforce? Join us for a special and much-needed check-up on how personal health impacts a typical workday, from better diets and exercise to a stronger bottom line.

Group Health's Matt Handley, M.D., will present a compelling business case for the benefits of a healthier workforce, along with valuable steps an employer can take to energize employees and inspire a more active daily routine. Dr. Handley practices family medicine at Group Health, serves as associate medical director for strategic services and quality, and is an avid cyclist.

On June 26, we will also kick-off Walk Downtown Bellevue, a 10-week, 10,000-steps a day summer challenge to promote the walkability of our city and help build a healthier community. This fun and active campaign is open to anyone who works or lives in, or regularly visits, Downtown Bellevue.
