| Downtown Bellevue covers 400 acres
and includes 4.5 million square feet of retail and entertainment
uses and more than 9 million square feet of office space. There
are nearly 45,000 workers and nearly 6,500 residents housed in downtown.
The community is also home to the Bellevue Arts Museum and the Meydenbauer
Center, two of the Eastside's most outstanding arts and convention
venues, the award-winning King County Regional Library, as well
as two of the nation's premier destination retail centers, The Bellevue
Collection and The Shops at The Bravern. It has been estimated that
over the next 20 years, 75% of Bellevue's population and employment
growth will occur in downtown. Through this evolution, the Bellevue
Downtown Association will continue to champion and provide leadership
for a viable, livable, memorable and accessible downtown.
